The Adamas group (Adamas = Greek word for diamond) started in the late 1970¡¯s near Rotterdam in the Netherlands as a reseller of various products for the construction industry.
In 1980 Adamas invested in a production plant for diamond tools in Herentals ¨C Belgium. In the Netherlands a production line for diamond drilling rigs was set up.
The Adamas products proved to be a big success, which was continued a few years later with the production of wall ¨C and floor sawing machines as well as diamond drill motors.
As a result of the ongoing investments in the latest technology for both the production plants in Belgium and the Netherlands, the product quality improved considerably and the production volume boosted.Nowadays Adamas is a strong and independent European company with the commitment to serve its customers in the best possible way.
Investments in development and production of innovative quality products have the highest priority at Adamas.
