The company was established in 1979 in a small smithy in Harndrup, Denmark, by Mr. Jens Gade, a former engineer at Dan-Foam (currently known as Tempur).
In 1982, the company moved to Aarup (in what was previously known as Aarup Trappen; ¡°the Aarup Staircase¡±). After doing so, the company quickly gained more and more ground and now employs 24 people ¨C up from 3 in 1982.
Due to an increasing amount of orders, the company expanded twice; in 1987 and in 2001.
On 19 April 2002, the molding department unfortunately burned down, but has since been reconstructed, and everything works as well as before (and we have learned something about firefighting measures¡).
The company produces polyurethane used for the coating of wheels and rollers. In addition, Dansk Elastomer A/S produces polyurethane tubes used as seals in the airline, off-shore and other industries.
Dansk Elastomer A/S produces special-order items which means that we continue to develop new products based on our clients¡¯ needs and desires.
The products of Dansk Elastomer A/S are sold both domestically and abroad. 30% of our turnover is exported.
