The pumice is ground, purified and graded into a variety of particle sizes from #4 mesh down to 2 micron. Due to its low unit weight, near white in colour , and because it is chemically inert and environmentally safe Hess pumice makes an exceptionally good filler and extender.
The uses of pumice are endless as an abrasive polish, filtration plants, flatting agents, facial scrubs, dental polish, circuit board cleaning, plastic paints, glass polishing, hand cleaners, leather, pottery, rubber industry etc.
