We are pleased to present to you the new company PILOUS-TMJ s.r.o. It was established by amalgamating the business activities of PILOUS-p¨¢sov¨¦ pily, spol.s r.o. and TM Jesenice servis, spol.s r.o., the two leading bandsaw manufacturers.
PILOUS, established in 1994, launched its first model of a metal cutting bandsaw in the same year. The company has undergone a dramatic development resulting in a wide variety of models from small portable machines to industrial CNC automatic machines. Approximately 80 % of the production is exported to 40 countries, first of all to the West and East European markets, but also to North America, South America, Asia, and Africa. With the present production of 2500 machines per year, PILOUS ranks among the major and best-quality world producers of professional bandsaws. PILOUS also manufactures log bandsaws. Their assortment, quality and number of machines manufactured rate the company among the world leading manufacturers.
Established in 1969, the TM Jesenice engineering factory was engaged in production cooperation for engineering factories based in the Rakovn¨ªk region. When PIKAZ Jesenice was established in 1975, it first of all focused on manufacturing one-purpose machines for automobile industry. In the seventies, the Jesenice factory produced one-purpose machines controlled by programmable automatic machines representing high technical standard at that time. After 1989, its highly qualified staff carried on their business in the privatized company FEREX. Having changed the production program, the company has been producing metal cutting bandsaws under the name TM Jesenice since 1994.
The previous production of PILOUS-p¨¢sov¨¦ pily, spol.s r.o. has been first of all aimed at small and medium-sized bandsaws with a swing cutting yoke, while the production program of TM Jesenice includes two-column band saws of bigger sizes.
The ranges of products of both companies complement each other to a significant extent. This is also confirmed by our foreign partners who have been selling the products of both brands for long periods (Russia, Germany, Austria, Belgium, etc.).
The common production program of the new company PILOUS-TMJ will be at present representing one of the most comprehensive selection of bandsaws and accessories worldwide. This assortment will enable cutting of material from dia. 100 to dia. 1000 mm on 50 basic professional bandsaw models in many modifications. Beside the basic assortment, PILOUS-TMJ also design and manufacture one-purpose bandsaws. Thus, they are able to satisfy technical requirements of nearly any customer.
The present parent companies will continue their activities as independent manufacturing works. PILOUS-TMJ s.r.o. as a trading organisation will ensure the sale of the whole assortment.
We expect from this new business strategy a faster break into new markets, strengthening of sale on the present markets and significant cost savings for advertisement and trade show organization. Pooled design work, mutual takeover of interesting designs and unification of certain components and technological units should lead to further improvement of our high standard machines and as a result, to better quality and attractive prices for you, the customers.
