Abrasivos Mendiola started its activities in 1962 with an abrasive material very innovative in the national market, where the silica sand and the granulated metal were the only products used in descaling by abrasive blasting.
After having subjected the product to severe control tests in industrial plants and with different materials, the result have showed that this is a product lacking in silica, completely inert and with hopeful prospects in many areas.
Abrasivos Mendiola was settled in the Txori-Erri valley, having as customers the main shipyards of the river of Bilbao: Euskalduna, La Naval, Celaya, etc. Soon te commercialization of our product was extended throughout the country, covering different areas: Petrochemical, siderurgical, naval, off-shore and industry in general.
Abrasivos Mendiola at the moment, is present at the overseas market with a product of the highest quality, and that enables us to face the future as a challenge to our constant excelling.
