The excitement at the D-Mall convention hall was palpable on the afternoon of June 21 as diamantaires from the entire Israeli Diamond Industry gathered to welcome two important figures in the global diamond industry - CEO of diamond conglomerate De Beers, Gareth Penny, and CEO of the Diamond Trading Company, Varda Shine - to an open discussion on the future of the industry.

IDI Chairman Moti Ganz welcomed the participants and thanked everyone for coming to the discussion. Ganz introduced the two distinguished guests and said that he hopes that this is the first of a series of similar events to take place in the future.
