Exchange Rate for Israeli Shekel-US Dollar Continues Decline

Yesterday’s representative shekel-dollar rate was set below NIS 3.9/$. The shekel-dollar exchange rate appears to be continuing its decline, with a 0.6% drop to NIS 3.866/$. The shekel-euro exchange rate has declined by 0.32% to NIS 5.4562/€.
The representative shekel-dollar exchange rate peaked at NIS 4.248/$ in April of this year, but it has since dropped by 9%. At the end of 2008 levels reached NIS 3.802/$.
The Bank of Israel set the shekel-dollar representative exchange rate at NIS 3.89/$ yesterday, a 0.74% decline in comparison to the previous day, while the shekel-euro representative exchange rate was set at NIS 5.4736/€, constituting a 1.102% drop as compared to a day earlier.
