Two diamond exchanges affiliated with the World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB) - Thailand and Germany - have held elections. Last month elections were held among diamond bourse members in Belgium, Italy and Israel.



Boonyong Assarasakorn was re-elected to the position of president at the Bangkok Diamonds and Precious Stones Exchange (BDPSE). Somchai Phornchindarak will serve as vice president and Pichet Romhuttirerk will continue to serve as Secretary General.



In Germany, the membership of the Diamant-und Edelsteinb?rse Idar-Oberstein E.V. re-elected Jochen M?ller to serve a second term as diamond bourse president. Three vice presidents were voted in: Manfred Giloy, Christian Klein and Bernd Willi Ripp.
