Alrosa has announced the appointment of Vladlen Dmitriyevich Nogovitsyn as head of the giant Russian diamond miner’s marketing deprtment.



Nogovitsyn’s career in the diamond industry started in 1992 when he started off as rough diamond sorter. He subsequently became head of Republic of Sakha’s sorting center.



Between 1995 and 1999, he served as Sakha’s trade representative in the UK. Since 2006, Nogovitsyn has headed Alrosa’s subsidiary Arcos Hong Kong Ltd.
