The Organization Committee of abrasives and grinding group took part in The 8th Germany Grinding Tec Exposition and communicated with each other effectively about the cooperation between A&G Expo and Grind Tec to help Chinese enterprises go out and promote 2013 the Second China (Zhengzhou) International Abrasives and Grinding Exposition (A&G Expo).

GrindTec is organized by FDPW in Germany Augsburg biennially since 1998. Exhibits include almost products of A & D industry, such as grinder, abrasives and grinding products, cutter, grinding liquid etc. 120 units (including 15 foreign exbititors) from 6 countries took part in the first exposition with a total exhibiting area of 4500 sqm. 447 exhibitors from added to 25 countries took part in the 8th exposition from Mar 14 to 17 2012 with a total of exhibiting area of 28000 sqm, the top three including 291 Germany exhibitors, 28 Italy and 17 Chinese with 8 enterprises from Henan province and 9 super hard materials enterprises. There’re 11 enterprises in the group of abrasives and grinding exhibition (including 5 exhibitors). At present, GrindTec is the most professional, the most advanced and the largest-scale A&G Expo with the most kinds of products in the world. The exhibitors can meet their own old customers and future targeting customers at the exposition, and also can find the future improvement of their own products compared with the products in the same field. The visitors can meet supplies of many products conveniently to choose the supplies that have higher cost-effective products and good service. Chinese exhibitors and visitors gained a lot and satisfied the exposition effect and the service of exhibition group, hoping the Organization Committee of Abrasives and grinding delegation to take part in GrindTec in 2014. The satisfied effect made us have more confidence to organize more Chinese enterprises to attend 2014 GrindTec Exposition.

GrindTec organizer emphasized on Chinese exhibiting delegration, arranging a series of activities during the exhibiting time because of good communication before exposition. Firstly, supporter of GrindTec exposition, AFAG treated secretary-general, Li Zhihong, and deputy secretary-general Huo Fengfui of A&G Expo as honored guests, giving VIP card through Chinese representive Wang Hanan (free come in and go out pavilion at any time during exposition period with the card), and inviting delegation members to take part in the opening ceremony.

Secondly, on the afternoon of opening ceremony, chairman Jurgen Baldus, vice chairman Uwe Schmidt, project manager Wilfriend Saxler specially arranged to have an informal discussion with Chinese delegation members. Chairman Jurgen Baldus introduced the situation of each session GrindTec exposition and his emphasis on and wish for Chinese exhibiting delegation, saying that we observed Chinese exhibiting delegation is the third largest delegation, the important delegation to help the exposition expand, and we also paid attend to China A&G Expo to visit it leaded by vice-chairman, hoping we have a good cooperation in the future. Secretary-general, Li Zhihong, and deputy secretary-general Huo Fengfui introduced the situation of the first A&G Expo and gave the advertising disc of the expo, the invitation letter of the Second A&G Expo, and English Journal of “Diamond and Abrasives Engeering”. Secretary Li stressed that China has been the largest market of A&G products. At present, only the Germany GrindTec and China A&G Expo are the professional exhibition in the field of A&G products, which are held biennially and in the different year. Germany is the country of manufacturing precise abrasives and grinding equipments and high-end abrasives and grinding products. There’s strong complementation in this field for two countries, having good cooperation prospect. If two expositions combine to support each other, promote each other’s expo on each journal and website, take part in the part’s expo, which must promote more advanced development of two expos, making great contributions to technological development and market extension of the world abrasives and grinding industry. Representatives of both parties communicated with each other about the problems that each party concerned, which enhanced mutual trust and understanding, and laid good foundation of the good cooperation.

Both parties have not given full expression to their views through several hours talk, so leaders of two parties exchanged views detailedly and profoundly on Mar 15. Chairman, Jurgen Baldus wanted to know more about some details, such as why choose Zhengzhou city, why the time is autumn and how to arrange Germany exhibiting delegation and area etc. Secretary Li introduced that Chinese large market had great attraction for Germany and other manufacturers from developed countries. Zhengzhou has the special advantages in technology, talents, producing and sales. The time is autumn in consideration of the different time which famous Beijing Machine Tools Expo in the world and other expos were held in. We can say that China A&G Expo has the special advantages of good timing, geographical convenience and good human relation. It must grow to world-famous professional expo like GrindTec. Secretary Li also introduced that the 6th ZISC will be held at the same time with 2013 A&G Expo, celebrating 50 aniversay of China artificial diamond. Welcome Germany experts to attend the expo and make a speech at the scheduled time. He hoped that Germany delegation can take part in 2013 China (Zhengzhou) International A&G Expo and promised that the exhibiting area can be based on their requirements. Germany party promised to hold a council meeting to discuss the cooperation of two expos and communicated with China party in time after the expo. The result of the talk is very satisfying.

All the members of the organization committee that go to Germany and employed Chinese students in Germany gave all the exhibitors and the visitors who are interested in it invitation letters of 2013 A&G Expo, advertising disc of 2011 A&G Expo and English journal of “Diamond and Abrasives Engineering( including color advertisements of 2013 A&G Expo and the 6th ZISC). Most of persons that received the materials of 2013 A&G Expo showed great interests in A&G Expo, gaining good advertising effect.

In addition, Li Zhihong and Huo Fenghui visited Germany Trenker Company and British Element Six Company that took part in 2011 A&G Expo after the expo. Both of them were received warm welcome from Mr Trenker, the general manager of Trenker Company, the persons of Element Six Company, including executive director Walter Friedrich Huhn, supervisors in the strategy and market department etc. Two secretaries gave the advertising disc of 2011 A&G Expo, English journal of “Diamond and Abrasives Engineering and invitation letters of 2013 A&G Expo, sincerely inviting two companies to attend A&G Expo 2013 and the 6th ZISC. They accepted invitation happily.

It is very successful for this exhibiting delegation and visit, receiving good expected effect. Delegation members open up trade channel, broaden international vision and enrich their experiences in new products and new technology.
