2012 China International Hardware Exposition (CIHS’12) driven by Cologne International Hardware Expo will be held in Shanghai New International Expo center, from Sep 19 to 21 2012. It has been ten years since found in 2001. During this period, CIHS grew rapidly to be the second largest Hardware Expo due to following the market demand and servicing industry. It is named as “weatherglass of hardware market, wind vane of industry development”.

CIHS’12 will reasonably control scale increase, insisting on the expo policy of “stabilize the scale, enrich the content, increase the level, strengthen the service and create more value”, strengthening “technology and market orientation” to promote stable and sustainable development of hardware industry in China even all over the world.

CIHS’12 will continue to insist on the orientation of “walking on two legs” in the international and domestic market to strengthen exchange cooperation and promotion of global important markets, deep organization of professional buyers in domestic second and third tier markets. It is expected that professional visitors in 2012 will increase by 10% YoY. The leading retailers in the world will continue to go to expo to purchase, including Wal-Mart, The Home Depot, Kingfisher Group, LGSourcing, Leroy Merlin, Saint-Gobain and Metro etc. so do 3M, LOWE’S, Home retail Group, Adeo and many hardware and building materials enterprises from domestic. For more than ten years, China International Hardware Expo has got full approval and support of hardware industry bases from the whole country. It is expected that there will be ten industrial bases of hardware products to attend CIHS’12, including Hebei Anping, Huanghua, Zhejiang Jinhua, Wenzhou, Pujiang, Haiyan, Yuhuan, Guangdong Xinhui, Shunde, Zhongshan Xialan etc.

China International Hardware Special Expo—“China International Building Hardware Expo” and “China International Lockset, CILS” have reached a certain scale through two years’ cultivation and development. The expo will strengthen the support to offer the excellent plateform for these two special expo industries with great potentiality and high value-added. CIHS’12 will continue to have the area of “abrasives and grinding products”, “individual protection products”, and “processing and manufacturing equipments” based on the requirements of buyers and exhibitors.

Because hardware industry is one of the important industry chains, CBCNN delegation has taken part in CIHS for two consecutive years in order to show overall strength of national coated abrasives industry and good image of enterprises, getting the positive support of industry enterprises, gaining favorable results, making the area of E3 pavilion “the booth of abrasives and grinding products” expand that gradually formed scale effect. And its area will increase by 100% (50% booths sold). The expo location and quantity ordered by sub-association are almost the same with that of previous year. Registration has been accepted because of the limited booth quantity. Enterprises select booth according to the registration order, especially the competitive enterprises are encouraged to attend it with special clothes.

Booth price: ground (≥36 sqm), 900 RMB per sqm, standard booth (9 sqm) 9,000 RMB per booth; standard booth (12 sqm) 12,000 RMB per booth.
