China International Hardware Expo will double abrasives and grinding products area, more than 2500 sqm, accounting for a quarter of the expo pavilion, the sponsor of China International Hardware Expo, standing director of China Hardware Association, Shi Senglan said recently.

It is introduced that the second largest hardware expo----Abrasives and grinding products is always one of the most important exhibits during China International Hardware Expo held for more than ten years. 2008 China International Hardware Expo detailed the pavilion under the requirements of most of exhibitors and professional purchasers, firstly setting up abrasives and grinding products booth. The area was expanded greatly in large-scale in 2010, the quantity of industry exhibitors to 187, more than 200 in 2011.

Standing director Shi said that we decide to adjust the booth this year with the strong demand of most of exhibitors and professional purchasers in terms of increase rate of abrasives and grinding products over several years, doubling area to 2500 sqm, almost accounting for a quarter of the pavilion, at the same time increasing ground area, the expected exhibitors to 350. In these years, we always subdivide the exhibits category. The scale and trading volume of professional exhibition area increase quickly, like the lockset, fastener, silk screen nail, doors and windows, furniture and hardware etc.

Standing director Shi said that China International Hardware Expo Committee will supply the best and specific procurement service for the professional purchasers at home and abroad in this industry due to the popularity of abrasives and grinding products booth, and firstly select the leading abrasives and grinding products manufacturers in the domestic for the purchasers through “the technology forum of cutting, grinding and polishing application”, offering the “one-to-one” trade service. She pointed out finally that China International Hardware Expo will continue to hold the annually activity of “New products showing and marketing” at the same time, showing the new products, new process, new material and new technology in the field of abrasives and grinding products industry for the purchasers at home and abroad.”

As far as we know, China International Hardware Expo was found in 2001, the second largest hardware expo in the world, hosted by China Hardware Products Association, Germany Cologne International Expo Co.,Ltd, All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce Hardware and Electromechanical Chamber of Commerce, light industry sub-association of CCPIT and supported by Beijing Triuni Exposition Co.,Ltd and Shanghai Mainland Tool Development Co.,Ltd. The expo area in 2011 is 110,000 ㎡, more than 2400 exhibitors, more than 41000 professional visitors including 3292 foreigners, 40% purchasers from Europe and America. More than 70% visitors are management leaders and policymakers. The leading retailers in the world will continue to go to expo to purchase, including Wal-Mart, The Home Depot, Kingfisher Group, LGSourcing, Leroy Merlin, Saint-Gobain and Metro etc.



According to organizers, 2012 China International Hardware Expo will be held in Shanghai New International Expo Center from Sep 19 to 21. At present, More than 70% booths has been ordered, more than 60% of abrasives and grinding products.
