A traveling jewelry vender was able to shoot two men and scare away two others after an attempted robbery in Memphis, Tennessee.
it was around 3pm behind the Hopson Building on Poplar Avenue, when, after hours of carefully stalking and tracking, four Hispanic men decided time was ripe to jump 62 year-old Stephen Fleischman, a jewelry vendor who had spent the day traveling between jewelry stores. Fleischman had just completed a transaction with a private jeweler in an unmarked jewelry store and was heading towards his car at the parking lot. The highway was in sight and it seemed to the four men that their crafty plan was going to succeed.
Despite the careful planning, the men were thwarted by the resourceful jewelry vendor who was licensed to carry a gun and has become well aware of the dangers of his profession after an attack four years ago.
The jewelry vendor pulled out his gun and was able to directly hit two of the men, who were critically injured. The two others took off in a white Ford Fusion.
Alerted by the gunshots, witnesses were surprised to find the bad guys on the ground. The police is very happy with the results.
