German self-service wholesaler to open new stores in China

German self-service wholesaler Metro Cash & Carry plans to open four new wholesale stores this year in China, said Friday's China Daily.
The new stores would be in east China's Kunshan, Changshu, Cixiand Hangzhou.
The company said it planned to have a network of 42 wholesale stores across the country by the end of this year.
Tino Zeiske, president, Metro Cash & Carry China, said Metro would continue to invest and grow in the coming years in China.
Metro Cash & Carry is the major growth driver of the Metro Group, one of the world's leading retailing companies.
