Dear customer,
Re: Announcing the new Element Six Global Innovation Centre
At Element Six we are excited and proud to announce that we are investing in the world’s largest synthetic diamond supermaterials research & development facility, just outside Oxford in the UK. For us, this purpose-built, state-of-the-art facility is a major commitment to the future success of our supermaterials. A commitment that we believe is completely unrivalled in our industry.
The new centre will enhance our innovation capabilities by attracting the world’s best scientific talent, while consolidating our global R&D teams into one integrated centre. This development will reinforce our position as the world-leader in synthetic diamond innovation and deliver a faster and stronger pipeline of extreme performance products for our valued customer partners and ultimate users of our products.
We intend to build on our 50 years heritage of technological research by generating the new synthetic diamond supermaterial technologies and products that will power both our customers’ applications and us for the next 50 years. For example, we have just been awarded the highly prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation in the UK. This recognition was for our team’s work in developing a synthetic diamond speaker dome used in Bowers & Wilkins’ 800 Diamond Series loudspeakers.
Thank you for your business and your partnership over the years. We hope to welcome you to our Global Innovation Centre some day, and in the meantime hope you enjoy the benefits of this investment for many years to come.
Yours sincerely,
Hubert Koegel
