The research and development of welded diamond saw blades specialized in cutting tile

Abstract In this paper, the factors that can affect the sharpness, lifespan and efficiency of the diamond saw blades are analyzed by orthogonal tests with the help of production techniques, diamond pretreatment and the application of new pre-alloyed powders, etc. The results show that by the method of coating diamond with Ni together with the techniques of sintering self-reduction and intermediate compound alloying, the utilization ratio of diamond is increased, the activated sintering is effectively promoted, the sharpness is observably improved, so that the products can enjoy their higher efficiency and longer service lifetime while cutting the hard tiles.
