Expos Introduction: Japan International Machine Tool Expos was held in 1962 for the first time. The year of 2012 is the 50th Anniversary of the Expos. The expos is held together by 14 Japanese Associations, including Japan Machine Tool Manufacturers Association, Japan Machine Tool Importer Association, Japan Metal Forming Machinery Association, Japan Table-type Processing Machinery Association, Japan Small-size Tool Manufacturers Association, Japan Superhard Alloy Tool Manufacturer Association, Japan Machine Tool Accessories Association, Japan Fine Measuring Instrument Association, Japan Abrasive Wheel Association, Japan Industrial Diamond Association, Japan Optical Measuring Instrument Association, Japan Hydro-kinetic Force Association, Japan Test Experiment Equipment Association and Japan Gear Cutting Processing Association.

Japan International Machine Tool Fair (JIMTOF), Chicago International Manufacturing Technology Expos (IMTS), European International Machine Tool Expos (EMO) and China International Machine Tool Expos (CIMT), these four large world machine tool expos are recognized internationally.

The theme of this expos is “Make the Future of The Earth More Convenient”. The theme aims at promoting the development of machine tool industry and its trade enhancement through the international trade and technology exchanges between machine tool and related equipments. The net area of the last expos is 47079 sqm, total 813 exhibitors from 17 countries and regions including America, Israel, Italy, India, Britain, Australia, Austria, Holland, South korea, Switzerland, Sweden, Spain, Taiwan, Czech, China, German and Japan. There’re total 142408 visitors during six-day expos, more than 20 thousand visitors daily according to the data statistics from sponsor.

1. 2. Metal processing Tool: all kinds of metal processing tool, measuring and cutting tool, jig, clamping apparatus, assembling tool etc.

3. Machine tool accessories, components and parts and the equipments: materials handling equipment control motor, dynamic speed change equipment, hydraulic pneumatic components, and lubricant and test equipment;

4. Welding equipments: heat-heating facility, abrasives and grinding products, mould processing equipment, test equipment, rapid prototyping equipment, injection molding equipment, mould polishing machine, mould standard component, wire and cable, instrument and meter, machine tool electric apparatus etc.

5. Control system and CAD/CAM: CNC system, automation equipment, industrial robot, computer-aided manufacturing, designing and software etc.
