A few days ago, industry coordination department organized symposium of economic situation of machine tool industry with the participation of CMBTA and main enterprises in this field in order to analyze the economic situation of machine industry. The association and enterprises reflect the management difficulty: the operation revenue from Jan to May decreased clearly year on year, newly increased orders and the orders in hand sharply reduced year on year, the finished inventory and debt receivable increased greatly. As for the products structure, there’s great impact on medium-low general-purpose machine tool while low impact on medium-high end machine tool used in the key industry, aerospace field etc. and the products for the special industry. Meanwhile, the association and enterprises realized that the market demand decrease is also an opportunity for the upgrade and strategic shift, stressing on development strategy adjustment, inside resource reorganization and suggesting that government should issue some policies to help enterprises realize upgrade, including institutional tax cuts, improving management environment of enterprises, supporting the enterprises to “go out”.
