HRD Antwerp announced the opening of its new lab in Mumbai, the first one it has opened outside of Antwerp. The new lab is in the city's new diamond center at Bandra Kurla Complex.



The new facility's services include full HRD Antwerp diamond certificates, Diamond Identification Reports for diamonds smaller than one carat, preliminary examinations and sealing.



Georges Brys, General Manager of HRD Antwerp said the rationale behind opening a lab in Mumbai was an expected 13% annual growth of the Indian diamond industry market.
