“The First Precision Manufacturing Technology Seminar of Superhard Cutter” is held in Zhengzhou economic and technical development zone from July 17 to 19, 2012, which is sponsored by China Mechanical Engineering Association, China Engineering Industry Union Association and CMBTA, co-organized by Chengdu Appliance Research Institution and Henan (Zhengzhou) Mechanical Engineering Association, and undertook by Zhengzhou Diamond Precision Manufacturing Co.,Ltd. There’re more than 120 to attend the meeting, including Lu Bingheng, vice present of China Mechanical Engineering Association, Zhang Yanming, vice present and secretary-general of China Mechanical Engineering Association, Gao Wensheng, vice present and secretary-general of Henan Mechanical Engineering Association, Wang Luzhou, director of Chengdu Appliance Research Institution, Wu Yuhong, chairman of Zhengzhou Technology Association, Guo Xinwei, secretary-general of Zhengzhou Mechanical Engineering Association, Zhao Baoming, vice-general manager of Chery Auto Engine Branch, Zhang Fengming, general manager of Zhengzhou Diamond Precision Manufacturing Co.,Ltd; representatives from auto, engine, machine tool manufacturing industry, universities and colleges, research institution, such as Shanghai GM, Chery, FAW-VOLKSWAGEN, Tianjin FAW, Weicai Power, Anyang Xinsheng etc.

Lu Bingheng academician and Zhang Yanming secretary-general respectively make a report of “High-end Numerical Control Machine and Superhard Material Cutters” and “China Mechanical Engineering Technology Development Trend”. The professors, Chen Wuyi of Beiing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Wang Xibing of Beijing Institute of Technology, Wang Luzhou, director of Chengdu Appliance Institute, all of them make technical report of cutter technology for processing aerospace materials.

During the meeting, the achievements, issues and difficult problems brought by representatives around China are divided into four groups, cutter management, superhard cutter materials application, superhard materials cutter manufacturing and cutter application in the plant. They discussed and exchange with each other for every special in the meeting room, laboratory and plant.

The representatives satisfy this meeting, hoping that it can continue to be held to promote the better development of national superhard material cutter, high-speeding cutting and precision manufacturing technology.
