UNCTAD Says China is the Most Attractive Market for Investors

According to the lately released report of UNCTAD, from 2009 to 2011, China is the first choice for investment of large multi-national corporations, followed by the United States, India and Brazil.
It is said by the reported that large multinational companies have suffered serious blow in the economic crisis. In survey of last year, 40% of multinational companies have been the impacted by the crisis, and this year the number reaches 85%. Due to the instability of investment and trade environment, 58% of multinational companies will reduce the international direct investment in 2009. The report states that the multi-national corporations generally expect their international direct investment will be recovered in 2010 and increase faster in 2011. Nearly half of multinational companies forecast their investment scale in 2011 will exceed that in 2008.
