It is reported by Russian Information Network on Aug 2 that the global diamond output in 2011 is 0.124 billion carats up 3% YoY. The total value is 14.4 billion dollars increase 26% YoY, 116 dollars per carat. The largest producing country of diamond in the world is Botswana. The second is Russia; Canada, South Africa and Angola are following.
