Shipping amount is 8.876 billion Yen (0.11316 dollars) growing 3.2% YoY. Production amount increases 2.9% YoY, shipping amount rises 4.5% YoY except for the effect of members changes.

From the material variety, special steel tool production amount is 7.373 billion Yen (94.03 million dollars), superhard tool production amount is 1.905 Yen (24.3 million dollars), diamond CBN tool production amount is 0.033 Yen (0.42 million dollars). DEFRA pointed that although the orders falls lightly from the words of some members, the production is steady for the moment because of many unfilled orders.

In addition, we learn from the statistic of Japanese economical industry provincial machinery, special steel tool production amount is 7.633 billion Yen (97.35 million dollars), up 2.4% YoY, two consecutive months increase.
