On Agu 21, Guangdong Bureau of Quality Supervision published provincial supervision result of adhesives product quality, reject ratio 6.4%.

It made a sample check for 126 batches adhesives products produced by 58 enterprises in seven cities or regions, including Guangzhou, Zhuhai, Foshan, Sunde, Jiangmen, Zhongshan and Dongguan ect. It tested 9 projects, including benzene, methylbenzene+dimethylbenzene, n-hexane, volatile organics, free formaldehyde, TDI, halohydrocarbon, 1，2-dichloroethane, 1,1，2-trichloroethane and triclene quantum), dichloromethane, 1,2-dichloroethane, 1,1,2-trichloroethane and triclene quantum according to GB 18583-2008 “Interior Decoration and Finishing Materials Harmful Substance Limitation in Adhesives”, GB 19340-2003 “Adhesives for Shoes and Luggage” and currently effective enterprises standard for the record and quality index and requirements of products express.

Eight batches products didn’t meet the standards through test, relating to benzene, dichloromethane, volatile organics, halohydrocarbon (dichloromethane, 1，2- dichloroethane, 1,1,2-trichloroethane and triclene quantum) etc.

Guangdong Bureau of Quality Supervision showed that they have charge related departments to deal with unqualified products and its manufacturing enterprises in the samples based on the laws and regulations.
