The reporter learnt from the Anhui Depart of Land Resources that Anhui innovated the system and mechanism, greatly invest in mineral resources exploration, realizing the breakthrough of finding mineral resources through geology.

Anhui successively found and proved 87 medium and large mineral plants. The newly increased resources reserves include 5.7 billion tons coal, 0.83 billion tons iron ore, 1.09 million tons copper, 1.65 million tons lead and zinc, 2.45 million tons molybdenum, 0.5 million tons gold, 8 billion tons limestone for cement, 0.7 billion tons gypsum and 0.1 billion tons halite. It also found and evaluated Jinzhai Shapinggou super-large molybdenum ore, Qimen Dongyuan large-scale tungsten ore, changing the history of no large ore in two mountains. Anhui also found and proved super-large zinc and gold, the polymetallic ore, Chizhou Huangshanling depth and Qingyang Gaojiabang large-scale tungsten molybdenum ore, Lujiang Nihe large-scale iron ore etc. Finding ore in Jingangshan has achieved a major breakthrough. There has got more than 40 natural diamonds, 0.25-0.38 mm diameter in Langan village, Yongqiao District, Suzhou city.

Anhui province rectified the developing order of mineral resources, put into effect 124 integrated projects. The provincial mine quantity reduced from 6624 to 4207, and the ore production capacity increased from 0.297 billion tons to 0.49 billion tons, implementing mining geology environmental protection and management project, investing in 1.25 billion to finish 33 sqm area, boosting the project construction of subsidence area villages and arranging 130 thousand people.
