Germany SolarWorld as the representative, EU enterprises files anti-dumping investigation application for China solar energy battery. EU decision will be published before Sep 6 according to 45 days deadline for putting on record. Chinese solar energy enterprises put the hope on Merkel’s visit to China, Prime Minister of Germany by the end of the month, which may settle trade dispute and ease tensions of the PV industry.

This is Merkel’s second visit to Beijing this year, showing the importance of China economy to Germany and EU countries. Her visiting time is just the time for China solar energy enterprises to wait the result of anti-dumping investigation decision.

Chinese enterprises hope that her visit can help both parties’ solar energy enterprises cooperation and have positive effect on anti-dumping case.

Germany government spokesman, Steffen Seibert stresses that Merkel visits China together with delegation and attends the second China –Germany negotiation. The follow-up environment minister will talk about the EU investigation on Chinese PV products trade relief. Although the prime minister doesn’t talk about enterprises disputes, she will urgent both parties to create fair competitive environment in each countries for Germany and Chinese enterprises.
