On Sep 2, CVD synthetic diamond test technology exchange meeting was held in Beijng hosted by Ministry of Land and Resources Jewelry and prepared by Jade Management Center and National Jewelry Quality Test Technical Committee of Experts.

It is introduced that national jewelry quality supervision and testing center has tested the synthetic diamond synthetized by CVD and through heat treatment technics. Foreign relevant institutions also found the CVD synthetic diamond that is not announced and sold in the name of natural diamond in the market of America, India, Singapore, Belgium etc. As the first national jewelry testing institution finding non-announced CVD synthetic diamond, national testing center attached great importance to it, firstly strengthening the technical research in the central laboratory inside, increasing the strength and density of detection and troubleshooting, warning the national quality testing institution and taking the lead in working out in high-efficiency and workable testing program.

In the meeting, Shen Meidong, the chief engineer of National Jewelry Quality Testing Center, introduced the process of CVD synthetic diamond founded by national testing center. Lu Taijin, the chief scientist of the center introduced the research situation of CVD synthetic diamond. The experts from foreign relevant institution also introduced the latest technical progress and judging technique of CVD synthetic diamond.
