According to the statistical data published recently by Japanese Ministry of Finance, Japan imported 19687 tons epoxy resin, up 13% YoY. In the same term, the export amounts of epoxy resin in Japan are 31036 tons, down 12% YoY.

It is reported that import increase of epoxy resin is caused by demand increase for the low-end products and higher yen quotation. Japan imported 6382 tons solid epoxy resin from Jan to July, nearly the same as the same term last year, and exported 13305 tons liquid epoxy resin, increasing 21% YoY, exported price down 20% to 292 yen per kilogram.
