Abstract In order to reduce the titanium alloy's grinding temperature and avoid the surface burn of workpiece, a brazing diamond grinding head with heat pipe was developed. A grinding experiment was put up and the result shows that the brazing diamond grinding head with heat pipe can reduce the grinding temperature evidently, and it provides the basis for realizing the dry grinding of the titanium alloy.
