The first preparation meeting for the Second China Zhengzhou International Abrasives and Grinding Exposition is held in Zhengzhou Sanmo Institute, Oct 15 2012. There’re some preparation working persons attending this meeting, including Li Zhihong, the vice chief engineer of Sanmo institute and secretary-general of Superhard Material Sub-Association, Huo Feng, the general manager of five exposition Regions of International Cooperation Company for China Auto Industry, Feng Jie, the project manager of abrasives and grinding association, Chen Yuandong, deputy secretary general of Coated Abrasives Sub-Association and so on.

The meeting decided that The Second China Zhengzhou International Abrasives and Grinding Exposition will be held in Zhengzhou International Exhibition Center, Nov 15-17 2013.

The meeting discussed the overall planning scheme of the exposition. It is predicted that there is total 20000 sqms, 450 exhibitors and 20000 visitors. The meeting decided to invite Zhengzhou Government to host this exposition together in order to cultivate exposition brand and make Zhengzhou superhard material and abrasives & grinding more sound. The exposition will supply package of service and give certain discount for the large booth and exhibitors in early registration. It also discussed other activities held in the same period. At present, some have been confirmed, including 50 anniversary celebration of China Industrial Diamond Birth, The Sixth Zhengzhou International Superhard Material Development Forum (five-year terms), Corundum Silicon Carbide Development Forum and Coated Abrasives Development Forum. Precision processing equipment and technology are the highlights in the Second China Zhengzhou International Abrasives and Grinding Exposition. The meeting of application technology for abrasives and grinding is planning, such as international refractory, combustion motor manufacturing technology, bearing manufacturing technology and cutting tools technological development forum. It is estimated that there will be more than 10 meeting and activities, 2500 audiences registering.

The persons in attendance thought that superhard material and its high-end products, precision NC processing machine tool and others are the development fields that country strategy supports strongly. The sponsor will gradually make China International Abrasives and Grinding Exposition become world class grinding technology exposition with the help of the successful experiences of the first exposition.
