Globes quotes the Nisha Group recruitment company which stated that hiring in Israel’s high-tech sector increased by 10.2% during this year’s second quarter. Nisha noted that high-tech companies are opening positions, and cutbacks and layoffs are slacking.
Nisha CEO Paule Tzuker said, "Companies' hiring processes are slow. The logic is clear and they constantly try to get the best candidates in the market. Most candidates are finding their next job through personal connections, others use the Internet. A large proportion of candidates chose to stay at their place of work after testing the job market in the current climate."
