International Organizations Enhances China's Economic Growth Forecast in 2009 and 2010

Before the publication of economic data about July in 2009, some international organizations have raised the forecast to China's economic growth. For example, Standard Chartered Bank has enhanced China's economic growth forecast in 2009 and 2010 to 8.5% and 8.9% respectively.
Department of Asian Studies in Standard Chartered Bank has previously estimated that China's economy would grow 7.4% in 2009 and 8.0% in 2010. However, with the picking up of China's economy in the first half of 2009, strong performance has been shown in some indicators, and Standard Chartered Bank will enhance China's economic growth forecast in 2009 and 2010.
