China’s export prices of steel plates to Taiwan have kept increasing. This week, a Taiwanese buyer was informed by a trader that the Chinese steel plate prices would rise further by US$10/ton after a rise of USD 10 per tonne in last week.

At present, China’s export prices of steel plates to Taiwan have come to USD 570 to USD 585 per tonne CNF.

Traders indicated that the Chinese steelmakers would increase the steel prices rather than cutting the price further in order to avoid further loss.
