According to statistics of Chinese Customs, the total import and export volume between China and Liberia reached US$ 70,539 million in the first half of 2009, up by 40.1% year-on-year, increased by 16.1 percentage points compared with the previous five months. Among which, exports from China to Liberia was US$ 70,512 million, up by 41.2% year-on-year, and imports from Liberia to China was US$ 270,000, down by 93.3%.
