China Petroleum & Chemical Corp reported better than expected growth in natural gas production during 2012 in a filing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange surpassing its annual target by 3%.

Output for the year hit 16.93 billion cubic meters a 15.6% increase from 2011 and higher than the company’s initial target of 16.49 bcm.
