Proactive Investors reported that South American Iron & Steel has signed an agreement with landowner in Putu concessions in Chile, which would enable it start beneficiation of iron sand concentrates.

The mining easement agreement with the landowners covers an area of 81.66 square kilometer within the Putu concession and will enable South American to start trial production at iron sands concentrates.
