China's average daily crude steel output hits 2.085 million mt in early March

The China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) has stated that in early March (Mar. 1-10) this year the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China totaled 1.676 million mt, down 3.3 percent compared to late February(Feb. 21-28). In early March, the average aggregate daily crude steel production of all steelmakers in China was estimated at 2.085 million mt, indicating an increase of 2.5 percent compared with late Februar.
According to the previous figures from the CISA, in late February this year the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China totaled 1.7323 million mt, up 0.8 percent compared to mid-February (Feb.11-20). In late February, the average aggregate daily crude steel production of all steelmakers in China was estimated at 2.0342 million mt, indicating a rise of 1.4 percent compared with mid-February.
