Based on statistics of the Department of Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao Affairs of the Ministry of Commerce, the trade volume of the Mainland and Taiwan from January to July of this year was USD52.53b, down 35.1%.

Among them, export from the Mainland to Taiwan reached USD10.01b, down 35.8% year-on-year; import from Taiwan USD42.52b, down 34.9% year-on-year.

The previous statistics indicated that in the first half of this year, the Cross-Straits trade volume dropped 36.7% year-on-year.
