Hebei Iron and Steel Group announced that in the Q1 of the current year its subsidiary Hebei Iron and Steel Group Mining Company produced 1.8421 million tonne of iron ore concentrate, up by 3.69% YoY, exceeding the target for the quarter by 22,100 tonne.

Meanwhile, in the Q1 Hebei Steel Group's Hebei based subsidiary Handan Iron and Steel Company supplied 13,000 tonne of hot dip galvanized steel sheet to local household appliance producer Midea Handan Company, double the total supply volume in 2012 and constituting 80% of the total purchase volume of Midea Handan Company for the quarter.
