IMMT will focus on developing the process to extract rare earth materials without damaging the surrounding. The Institute’s target is to meet country’s demand for rare earth metals indigenously. The institute works in sync with the five year plans and its funds are approved accordingly. Recently, the institute has witnessed increasing amount of funds coming from NGOs for technological advancement of the institute.
