Chinese coke exports hit 280000 tonnes in April

China exported 280,000 tonnes of coke in April of this year, up 180,000 tonne from March, preliminary statistics from the General Administration of Customs showed.
The export average price in April hit USD 267.05 per tonne, down USD 16.63 per tonne from the previous month.
In the first 4 months of this year, China exported 560,000 tonne of coke, up 92.6% from the same period of 2012. The export average price from January to April was USD 270.45 per tonne, an increment of 20.1% from a year earlier.
