China and Japan Signed the MOU of Intellectual Property Rights Protection

Based on Japanese Economic News, Japan's Economy, Trade and Industry Ministry and the State Administration for Industry and Commerce exchanged the MOU on the protection of intellectual property rights on August 24. The MOU mentioned that the two countries shall convene an affair working conference on trademark protection and clamping down on counterfeit goods, and department concerned of the two governments will mutually offer information of the protection of intellectual property rights and other content. The MOU aims to completely protect intellectual property rights and strengthen the cooperative mechanism of the protection of intellectual property rights between the two countries.
Japan's Economy, Trade and Industry Ministry signed the MOU on protecting intellectual property rights with the Ministry of Commerce of China in June of this year. The main purpose of Japan's Economy, Trade and Industry Ministry signing the MOU with the State Administration for Industry and Commerce is to put an end to the infringement of Japanese enterprises' trademarks in China.
