Reuters reported that China's iron ore imports dropped to 4 month low in June as steel mills curbed purchases of the raw material amid weak steel demand in the world's largest consumer.
Customs data showed that imports of iron ore fell to 62.30 million tonnes last month from 68.56 million tonnes in May which was the third highest on record. Shipments hit an all time high of 70.94 million in December 2012.
