Ukrainian crude steel output expected to rise in August

According to the Ukrainian association of metal producers Metallurgprom, in August 2013 Ukraine's crude steel production is expected to increase by 1.1% compared to June to 2.760 million metric tonne.
According to Metallurgprom's forecast, in August pig iron output in Ukraine will total 2.530 million metric tonne, up 5.8% compared to the June results, while Ukrainian production of rolled steel is expected to total 2.470 million metric tonne, up four percent compared to June.
In July, Ukrainian companies plan to produce 2.710 million metric tonne of crude steel, 2.490 million metric tonne of pig iron and 2.430 million metric tonne of rolled steel.
