According to the Ukrainian association of metal producers Metallurgprom, in the January to June period of this year, Ukraine's exports of iron ore increased by 11% compared to the same period last year to 19.140 million tonnes.

Meanwhile, exports of iron ore from Ukraine decreased by 9.6% in June compared to May, falling to 3.120 million tonnes. In the January to June period, Ukrainian imports of iron ore increased by 32% YoY to 1.425 million tonnes. In June alone, Ukraine's imports of iron ore increased by 8.4% compared to May rising to 220,000 tonnes.
