Visitors can see demonstrations at close-hand of the very latest in steel processing and handling technology.
The overall theme of the show being the maximising of structural and steel stockholding processing efficiency, with a major new aspect of this years event and showing for the very first time, a robotic welding line, fully automated structural steel fabrication.
The very latest equipment in related metal technologies will be demonstrated for maximising the cutting, drilling, handling, profiling, straightening, welding, shot blasting, painting, storing and management of metals..
Three significant new Kaltenbach machine introductions at the Event will be; KDS, the worlds fastest, multi-axis portal drilling machine for structural steel; KPS state-of-the-art, cost-efficient punch, shear and drill line, now with optional, integrated plasma profiling; robotic, fully automated structural steel welding line.
The KDS structural steel drilling machine, claimed 'the worlds fastest structural drill' has been further enhanced to provide even faster drilling and positional speeds, with feed rates up to 1000mm/min.
Developed in parallel with the latest carbide drill technology, the KDS provides, 3-axis structural drilling efficiencies, never before achieved for structural steel.
It can be used as a stand-alone machine or line integrated and controlled if required by internet FTP remote operation.
Also new for the drilling machines, is an optional Kaltenbach 'Contour Marking' system.
Fully DSTV compatible it provides useful surface scribed positional markings.
A complete, operational structural line will be demonstrated at International Partners in Steel 2007.
A new KPS, flat plate and angle steel, punch, drill and shear system is now available with an optional, integrated plasma-profiling unit to cut any required flat plate contour or hole.
With a punch capability of 40mm diameter, material thickness up to 25mm and tool station options of 3, 6 or 15 tools, the KPS is believed to provide the ultimate in fabricated steel, flat and angle plate processing.
Highly flexible, modular machine build specifications, enable scaleable build options for customers to specify some or all of the available process options.
Kaltenbach's latest user-friendly MULTILINE software enables ease of control and integration into overall production.
A major new robotic, structural steel welding line will also have its first public showing at the Event, as part of a complete and fully operating structural process line.
