Russia iron ore exports fall in May

According to statistics, Russia’s iron ore exports totaled 1.386 million tonnes in May slumping by 35.5% from a month ago and decreasing by 35.6% YoY.
In the first 5 months of this year, the country’s iron ore exports amounted to 10.343 million tonnes up by 0.5% YoY.
In the given period of time, the country’s iron ore exports made to China totaled 6.136 million tonnes up by 1.2%; those to Ukraine were at 1.294 million tonnes increasing by 20% and those for the Netherlands were at 838,000 tonnes increasing by 31.3% all compared to those in the same period of a year ago.
