2nd China Service Trade Conference, approved by the State Council, will be held at Beijing China National Convention Center on Nov. 24-25, 2009. It is sponsored by Ministry of Commerce and organized by Beijing Municipal People's government.

With the theme of "Share China Service in the Globe", and the objective of "Communication, Cooperation, Business Opportunities, Development", service trade enterprises as the major players, the 2nd China Service Trade Conference is trying to foster an authoritative and influential name-brand China service trade fair. On the occasion, the leaders from international organizations, experts and scholars in the field of services trade will come to the conference, which could serve as a communication window and platform in the world for government organizations, for enterprises from China and abroad ,and for scholars, to conduct business talks, and to discuss the hot issues of service trade.

The Conference consists of two types of activities, that is meeting and business talks: the former will include the opening ceremony, the 4th International Seminar on Trade in Services, the National Conference on Trade in Services for the Local Commercial Authorities and the Annual Conference of China Association of Trade in services; the latter will focus on five main emerging service trade industry with high added values and high technological contents: design service, digital animation games, advertising, environmental protection technology and financial services. Seminars, exhibitions, and business talks will focus on advanced ideas and development trends of the industry, with an aim of creating business opportunities for Chinese and foreign service trade enterprises, and promoting international cooperation.
