Antwerp Facets reports that Essie Cosmetics, a US cosmetics manufacturer, is joining forces with jewelry designer Judith Ripka to produce a line of nail polish with an enhanced shine thanks to the addition of a special ingredient - diamond dust.

In cooperation with the jewelry designer, Essie will create three limited-edition colors infused with diamond dust. A burgundy colored polish will be called “Heart My JR Jewels,” a red hue will be named “Queen of Hearts,” and a pink tinted nail polish will be called “Put a Ripka Ring on It.”



The retail price for the glittery nail polish is about $15, a real bargain for diamond lovers.



Essie Cosmetics claims to be the ultimate color authority and the go-to nail brand. Weingarten actually initiated her market research on the Las Vegas Strip where she focused on women whose hands must always glitter, from cocktail waitresses to casino dealers.
