It is reported that Korea’s import prices of HRC and heavy plates drop in July.

According to statistics, Korea’s HRC import prices averaged at USD 594 per tonne in July, decreasing by USD 8 per tonne from a month ago.

In July, the import prices of HRC from Japan were at USD 610 per tonne, slumping by USD 24 per tonne; those of HRC from China were at USD 559 per tonne, decreasing by USD 8 per tonne, both compared to the figures in a month ago.

Meanwhile, Korea’s HRC imports totaled 409,054 tonne in July, including 177,121 tonne from China and 208,838 tonne from Japan.
